Denplan for Children
To make children’s care simple and affordable, we are proud to offer Denplan for Children, a monthly budgeting system that spreads the cost of your child’s routine dental visits. This plan makes it easy for parents in Dawlish and across Devon to keep up regular check-ups without worrying about unexpected costs.
Denplan benefits include:
- Two check-ups per year
- Fluoride applications (where appropriate)
- Necessary x-rays
- Oral health instruction and preventative advice
- Orthodontic referrals if required
- Discounts on treatment fees compared to our private fee guide
You can also add Denplan Supplementary Insurance, giving extra peace of mind by covering dental emergencies and injuries.
Plan Costs:
Ages 5–12: £6.48 per month
Ages 12–18: £8.10 per month
Pay As You Go Options
If you prefer not to use Denplan, you can pay for your child’s check-ups and treatment as you go. We keep our children’s fees fair and transparent, with reduced costs compared to adult treatment.
Examination Fees:
- Under 5s (if parent/guardian is on Denplan at our practice): Free exam (£10 for fluoride application if appropriate)
- Under 5s (no registered parent/guardian): £15 (includes fluoride if appropriate)
- New patient exam under 5: £25
- New patient exam 5–18: £55
- Ages 5–12: £25 (includes fluoride and necessary x-rays)
- Ages 13–18: £35 (includes fluoride and necessary x-rays)
- Emergency appointment (under 18s): £50 plus treatment
Treatment Fees (under 18s):
- Glass ionomer: from £30
- Composite filling in baby tooth: £75
- Composite filling in permanent tooth: from £90
- Extraction of baby tooth: from £85
- Extraction of permanent tooth: from £92
- Fissure sealant: £25
- Stainless steel crown: £95
